We are a sensational group of Year 6 and 7 students, who are looking forward to showcasing our learning with you. Please have a read over what we have been up to and leave us a comment.
This week we did a science experiment where we got into groups and filled ⅔ of a balloon with water then put it in the freezer for 2 nights. When we got our balloons we examined it and observed it. Afterwards we peeled the balloon off the ice and sprinkled salt on it then watched it dissolve into the ice. Mrs Rendell then poured food coloring on it and it showed what it did to the ice. After we had some fun and smashed the ice into millions of pieces. My group (Xanda’s) learnt how salt melts ice and Noah A’s group learnt how the inside of the ice cracks when you sprinkle salt on the ice. Written by Xanda and Noah A
